Who runs this

FASIC INDEX is run by FASIC, a mouse brand. We are building our own wireless mouse, so we have a stake in this market. Our own product is never ranked or promoted here, and we list parts we do not use.

Why it exists

Spec sheets are hard to compare. One distributor lists a switch in newtons and another in gram-force; a maker labels length as height; a sorting range is quoted like a spec. We put every figure next to its source so you can check it.

How we measure

1. Each switch is pressed with a digital force gauge on a fixed stand, at a steady speed.
2. We record the peak force before actuation, over at least 20 presses per sample and at least 3 samples per model.
3. We publish the mean, the standard deviation, the number of presses and the test date.
4. Where a switch ships inside a mouse, we also measure it on the button, since button preload changes what your finger feels.
